Prayer Requests |
The Prayer Team meets every Wednesday evening to pray over prayer request. You can submit request to the team in one of three ways - you can fill out a prayer request card during the Worship Service and place it in the collection plate; you can call the church office at 830-426-4219 or email the church office at newfountainumc@hondo.net; or you can email the team leader Sandy Schweers.
The Healing Prayer Team is available in the church sanctuary every Sunday between the 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Worship Services. You can inform any team member before or after the 8:30 a.m. service that you or someone else would like a 'laying on of the hands'. You can also email the church office with your information and we will be looking for you the following Sunday.
We are currently working to put together an email-based prayer chain. The main purpose of this prayer group will be to pray for accident victims, those suffering medical emergencies or any other circumstance where immediate prayer is desired. Until this team is established, you can make these requests to the church office at 830-426-4219.
