CHILDREN IN THE CHURCH
Children are important to Jesus and they are important to our church family too.
At Newcastle UMC, we seek to integrate children into the church family in a variety of ways.
- Children serve as acolytes during worship service.
- Young children are invited to attend Children's Church during sermon time.
- Children are carefully taught and nurtured during Sunday School.
- Children that are not yet old enough to be in the youth group (Kindergarten through 5th grade), enjoy Value Time events throughout the year.
- Vacation Bible School is offered each summer. Last year it was July 23-27.
- A nursery is provided for infants and young toddlers.
