Young Family Ministries
Young Family Ministries at the
New Carlisle United Methodist Church focuses on the
needs of children and young families in the New Carlisle and New Prairie areas.
Sunday School
Children are invited to join their friends at 9:00
AM on Sunday to
learn from Biblically-based curriculum that expresses Bible stories in ways they
can understand.
Children's Church
Each Sunday morning during worship, after the children's
moments in the sermon, children are invited to attend children's church -
complete with activities and bible stories and lessons. Nursery is available every Sunday for infants
through age 3.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is held each year in July. Sign your kids up for a summer
adventure they will remember for years to come!
Read To Feed & Fill The
Ark
The children have
finished the "Read to Feed" program for Heifer
Project International. and the "Fill the Ark"
program. This involved four weeks of daily readings on
world hunger and short games.
Wee Care Preschool

Wee Care is a program that helps 3, 4
and 5 year olds to foster a positive self-concept, develop social skills, think,
reason, question, experiment, express themselves creatively, respect cultural
diversity, and develop readiness skills in pre-reading, pre-writing and
pre-math.
Special Occasion Parties
Our children are invited to various "Fun Times"
throughout the year. We have had a bowling and pizza party at Black Cat
Lanes and swimming at Waco Beach. We have an annual community Easter Egg
Hunts and Halloween Parties.
