Missions and Outreach

We reach out to express our concern for the community at large. Individuals contribute to a vital community by volunteering to help the homeless, the elderly, the impoverished, battered women, shut-ins, youths, missions in Appalachia and overseas, and many others. Some specific outreach programs and activities include Meals on Wheels, Midnight Run, and the Caring Committee.

The Caring Committee is here for you or those dear to you in times of ill health, hardship, or loss.

The Circle of Friends is a one-on-one ministry of support during times illness, loss or change.

Meals on Wheels delivers meals to shut-ins and seniors on Wednesdays.

Midnight Run involves the gathering and delivering of food and clothing which is provided for New York City homeless, six times a year. ( The first Tuesday in January, March, May, July, September and November.)

Missions, Church and Society is a committee, which oversees mission projects and activities locally, nationally, and internationally.

Quest For Peace is where we provide storage in the fall for the collecting of goods for Nicaragua.

HomeFront involves a large team of volunteers who commit to working on and repairing a local home on one Saturday in May.

Pacific House Outreach involves a group of adults and youth helping to feed the residents of Pacific House, a homeless shelter, on a monthly basis.
