Regarding Terriorism - September 11, 2001

The blatent, horrible acts that took place in Northeast America today were against GOD and humanity. Those who perpertrate acts of such disregard of human life have a distorted view of GOD's relationships and purposes for people.

The people of Neel United Methodist Church mourn with the many who are left to weep over their loved ones this day. We all share in the remorse they feel, and rebel against the nightmarish thing that was done to all Americans.

Jesus said, "Pray for those who persecute you,
so that you may be children of your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:44)

It is time for that prayer. It is also time for us to pray that the justice we seek not be blinded by anger, but guided by GOD Almighty.
