The Mission Society of the Northeast District is formed for the purpose of promoting and coordinating the work of the Church in the Northeast District through the

organization of church schools

the organization (but not the constituting) of churches

mission aid to Churches

formation of inner-city parishes or group ministries

the development and population change of our area

to erect, purchase or otherwise obtain buildings to be used as church sanctuaries, education and/or fellowship buildings and parsonages

The Mission Society meets twice a year to review applications and make grants. The next meeting is scheduled for December 8, 2009 at the District Office at 6:00 pm. If your church or organization is interested in applying for a Mission Society Grant please fill out the application and return to the Northeast District Office at P.O. Box 678 Madison, NC 27025.
