Over the past year the North Central Walk To Emmaus has underbgone several very important changes. We are now known as Closer Walk of Upper New York. As such we have a new home on the web which you may find either by going to the Links page or by clcking on the Closer Walk of Upper New York here. Be sure to update yourn browser Favorites/Shortcuts. Secretariat, the governing body of Closer Walk of Upper New York meets the 3rd Friday of each month at 7:30 pm at the 1st United Methodist Church located at 99 South Street or Routes 34 & 38 in Auburn, NY. Follow Rt. 34 after getting off I-90 at the Weedsport / Auburn exit 40 for Auburn. Cross East Genesee St. and travel approximately 6 blocks to the church. Hope to see you there.
Welcome to the Closer Walk of Upper New York Homepage. This page is designed to provide members of Closer Walk of Upper New Yorkwith access to the current newsletter, as well as supply those interested in attending a weekend with information. Applications for the various weekends are accessed by clicking on "Applications.".
"Other Postings" includes new information unrelated to specific weekends as well as members and job titles for Secretariat, Koinonia and YAC. There is also lists with times, date and place for Ultreya's as well as Koinonia dn YAK of Upper New York Happenings. The "Upcoming Weekends" section is updated as new information is received. Under "Contact Us" you can find links for sending any questions or comments you would like to make (we appreciate feedback), posting prayer requests on our prayer chain, or signing up for the prayer vigil on upcoming weekends.
Under the "Links" tab, you will find the link to the NEW Koinonia and YAK of Upper New York homepage as well as links to other Walk To Emmaus Communities.
Most of the newsletters, applications for membership, and the longer updates on this page are in both Microsoft Word and .PDF formats. They can be easily viewed or printed through using Adobe Acrobat Reader version 8 which you can download and use for free. Just follow the installation instructions.
