Come on down to Camp Don Lee & have a great, fun-time weekend with your child (children). This event provides a wonderful opportunity to bond & to spend quality time together.

Registration will begin on Friday afternoon at 4:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall at Camp Don Lee Center. NO FRIDAY DINNER meal is provided. At 8:00 PM we will have a liturgical & line dance class. Saturday Breakfast is served at 8:00 am.

Saturday registration will begin at 8:45 am. Teacher introduction & instructions will begin at 9:15am at Vesper Dale. Workshops start at 9:45am. All registrations must be received by August 25, 2009. Forms received after this date will be honored only if space is available.

2- Praying in color - Rev. Linda Harris
3- Adult Craft - Donna Hayes

4 - Adult Challenge Course - Camp Don Lee Staff

Children’s workshops will include Bible lessons, games, crafts, singing, nature walks and preparation for the Sunday morning Worship Program. Saturday afternoon is free time for everyone. Activities available during Free Time: swimming, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, archery, challenge course, fishing, volleyball, soccer, nature trail hikes, hayride, ice cream social and rest time.

All campers should bring the following: Bibles, linens (Twin for bunks), blanket, towels, washcloths, soap, various personal items, swimsuits, flashlight, bug spray, rain wear, & coins for vending machines. The camp store will be open at various announced times.

Directions to Camp Don Lee
From Raleigh or the North take Highway 70 East to New Bern. Take the 4th New Bern exit (New Bern/Washington exit, 3417). Stay on bridge and cross the Neuse River. After crossing the river stay in the right lane and take Bayboro exit. This will put you on Highway 55 East. Continue East on Highway 55 to Grantsboro. Turn right on highway 306 toward Araphoe and travel approximately 2 miles past Araphoe school. Turn left onto Buckland Road, travel 1.5 miles to the fist stop sign (intersection of Buckland and Don Lee Road). Turn right, travel approximately 2 miles and turn right into Camp Don Lee. Watch for camp signs.
