The United Methodist Church of U Narrowsburg U October 16, 2005 The PreludeCall To Worship h offered in unison. God, Your people of old experienced Your glory and holiness as clouds and fire guiding them to freedom. They believed that no one could see your face and live. How blessed are we that you have revealed your face to us in Jesus. You also equip us for life’s journey, by breathing new everlasting life into us, through the gift of the Holy Spirit. We praise and adore you, O God, for making our lives so special. May this time of worship and the service of our lives reveal our thanksgiving and our wonder that you should so care for us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen *Hymn My Faith Looks Up To Thee Hymnal page 452Prayer of Illumination h offered in unison by all. Eternal God: Proclaim your word in the reading of scripture. Speak to us in the meditations of our hearts. Reveal yourself in the faithfulness of our lives. Through Jesus Christ we pray. Amen
