The Naperville Area CROP Walk

 

Supports a local food pantry and a regional food bank

25% of pledges goes to local agencies and 
75% to Church World Service to reduce hunger worldwide.

Loaves and Fishes Community Pantry is a non-sectarian, community based organization established to provide food to needy Naperville residents. It is located at: 556 West Fifth Avenue, Naperville, IL 60563.   In 2005, Loaves & Fishes assisted about 1,500 Naperville families. The pantry provided approximately 800,000 pounds of food during the year. Over 3,000 bags of groceries are distributed monthly.  Please consult their web page or call (630) 355-FOOD to volunteer or learn about the Pantry's work.


 

Northern Illinois Food Bank, an affiliate member of America's Second Harvest nationwide network of Food Banks and Food Rescue Organizations, serves a thirteen county area from a main warehouse in St. Charles and a branch location in Park City, Illinois.  The food bank serves 37,600 people each week through  520 program sites including food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and other food assistance programs in 13 northern Illinois counties.
