GOD'S PROVISIONS

"But my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."  PHILLIPPIANS 4:19

Paul did not say"my God MIGHT supply" or "my God COULD supply," or "my God OUGHT to supply." He says, "my God WILL supply all your needs."

When the days were dark for Israel captive in a foreign land, God promised that there would be a time when they would be returned from Babylonian captivity.  And the day come when the walls of Jerusalem were rebuilt and the nation was reestablished.

When their hopes did not materialize, God promised Israel that the Messiah would come and establish the new kingdom of God.  There are 333 promises about The Messiah to come made in The Old Testament, and every one is a testimony to the faithfulness of God.

To the disciples of the first century, Jesus promised power when The Holy Spirit came upon them (Acts 1:18).  And who can read again the exciting story of the early church without recognizing the fulfillment of the Promise?

To the disciples of every century He promised His continuous presence.

"LO, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, EVEN TO THE END OF THE WORLD."
