Forsake not the gathering together…..

Sunday evening, 6:30 pm, a more relaxed and interactive worship and Bible study time is provided at Red Hill UMC and is open to members of Murphytown UMC members and friends. Youth and Children's groups meet at the same time at Red Hill. Thursday evening, 7:00 pm, is a time of prayer and Bible study. A class will be arranged for children of parents wishing to attend this study if needed. Be a part of a Bible study outreach to shut-ins at Worthington Manor Retirement Home along with the pastor at 10:30 pm Wednesdays, 36th & Core Streets. Join the United Methodist Women in fellowship, study and fun. Monthly meetings are held at Murphytown UMC at 1:00 pm on first Wednesdays of the month. The women prepare year-round for the annual church bazaar held in November as well as participate in foreign missions efforts and other programs. If you are a woman, you are automatically a member...all are welcome. Join the CEOS who meet at Murphytown UMC at 1:00 pm each 3rd Monday and enjoy good fellowship and activities.
FELLOWSHIP DOESN'T END WITH BIBLE STUDY & WORSHIP…
Murphytown UMC invites Red Hill UMC Members and members of the community to join them for Revival services May 8-11. Each night there will be special singing by groups from the area as well as members of the church. On May 8, Rev. Karen Brown, one of its own will return to speak. Lay Speaker Jamie Sprague will speak on May 9, with Rev. Rete Dent (retired) speaking on May 10. Former pastor for Murphytown and Red Hill UMC's, Rev. Sue Denning will speak on May 11. Come join the fun, learn, grow, sing, and be refreshed for the ministry to which the Lord has called us.
