4.  Stewardship:  We believe that everything we have is a gift from God.  This includes the creation, our relationships, our time, and our talents.  We have the responsibility to live lives of generosity, support the work of ministry, and care for God’s gifts. 

5.  Community:  We strive to be a place where people find a sense of belonging and connectedness, where we can grow in nurturing and caring relationships that make us a family of God. 

Mission

Middlesex UMC is a welcoming community of compassionate and loving Christian believers and seekers.  We offer acceptance and fellowship on the journey to become more like Jesus Christ by nurturing spiritual development, caring for the needs of people inside and outside our walls, and empowering all to become ambassadors of God’s love in the world. 

 Vision

We believe God is calling us to be an intergenerational community who joyfully experiences and shares God’s love together.  We welcome a new generation of children, youth, and young adults so that they may have fun, feel loved, and grow in their lifelong relationship with God and the faith community.  We have opportunities for spiritual growth that connect with people’s real life needs.  Together, we care for needs of the diverse groups in our area as a solid presence of God’s love.  We are called to experience new ways of worship that are centered on God, connected to tradition, and engage people of all ages.
