The Rev. David J. Blackman and his wife
Jackie are church and community minded and enjoy rural life. They grew
up in upstate New York and were involved in Methodist Youth Fellowship
programs. They have a passion and vision for teamwork, believe in Bible
studies, and strongly support children and youth programs. They have two
sons, Jacob and Joshua. Pastor David works tirelessly to serve Mt. Zion UMC and Hebron UMC of the Currituck United Methodist Church Charge. They are down to earth folks and enjoy the simple life. They look forward to meeting you!
Our
Pastor Emeritus is the Rev. Glenn H. McCranie. Pastor Glenn
is a retired Navy Chaplain and served the Currituck Charge
from 1997 - 2006 before retiring from the ministry. Glenn
and his wife Vi enjoy traveling and visiting their family.
However, they also love continuing to serve the Lord at Mt.
Zion. Look for Pastor Glenn's warm handshake and that
friendly twinkle of humor in his eyes!
