What Should I Expect When I Visit Mt. Zion UMC Worship Service? As you enter Mt. Zion UMC usher greeters will welcome you and invite you to our sanctuary. If you are a first-time visitor, they will share a recent copy of our newsletter and invite you to fill out a visitor card. Our minister and lay leader will later welcome and present you a gift of a hand-carved cross and flame, the Methodist emblem. During the Worship Service, there will be a time of Passing the Peace, when we share a handshake blessing with others. You will experience friendly folks with warm hearts, plus we hope you recognize the special presence of the Holy Spirit during the Worship Service. In addition, our minister shares a Children's Message each Sunday. A staffed Nursery is provided for infants to preschoolers plus Children's Church, a time of Bible story activities, for Kindergarten to 2nd graders. Mt. Zion also offers Kid's Packs during the Sunday Worship Service to help busy little hands be happy hands within the sanctuary. |

It often occurs when youth enter their middle to high school years or as adults, but may occur at any time that a person is ready to profess their faith. |
