Welcome to the Union Chapel United Methodist Church's home page.  We are glad you took the time to stop by and visit with us.  We invite you to stay as long as you would like and learn more about our church. 
   We have a congregation that varies widely in age.  We have a few children and youth as well as adults from young to old and in between.  The majority of our congregation, however, is retired. 
   As with many small churches, we have found it necessary to target our ministries.  Because of the age of the majority of our members, we spend a great deal of our time and resources in ministry to senior adults.  But this does not mean that we neglect our other ministry.  We want to be willing to serve the Lord, Jesus Christ, how ever, and where ever the Holy Spirit leads us.  To be in service of God means to be open and listening for opportunities to do ministry in our community and in our world. 
   We are a part of a two point charge along with Mt. Sylvan United Methodist Church.  Both these congregations are a part of the Tyler District of the Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. 
   We would like to invite you to come and be a part of our worship if you are ever in our area.
