  Founded in 1836, Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church is located in Chesapeake, Virginia.

  We at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, join together to thank God for the exciting new possibilities and challenges that the future holds for our church.
We seek to provide a genuine sharing of Christian love, opportunities for spiritual growth and warm friendships.  We, therefore, open our doors and ourselves to what Christ is calling us to accomplish and to become.
  We stand committed to making and nurturing disciples of Christ through worship, fellowship, study and outreach.  Our greatest joy is to invite others into a relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ and serve together in fulfilling Christ's ministry.
