Michigan Area Resource Center (MARC) is an audiovisual and music lending library serving the United Methodist churches in both Detroit and West Michigan conferences. MARC houses over 1500 video titles, 500 music titles, and 800 printed resources including books, magazines, maps, posters, booklets and flyers related to the UMC. MARC also provides consultation and guidance regarding resources needed fro the ministries of local churches, districts and conferences. Membership is open to any United Methodist church in the Michigan Area. Click here to go to the MARC website.

Go to Claritas for tons of free demographic information about your area from the leading supplier in the USA. The free stuff is more than you will ever use, but if you want more, the Detroit Annual Conference now has an account with them. Eugene Blair, Associate Council Director of Congregational Development, can download and email it to you. Even if you think you know your area you will be surprised and helped.

Please note that this replaces “Percept,” the former source of demographic materials. The Detroit Annual Conference no longer has an account with that organization.
