This information will assist local church treasurers in completing clergy tax reporting and understanding tax requirements for local churches. Clergy Sabbath Retreat
Meet at Marygrove Retreat Center on the Garden Peninsula for the clergy Sabbath Retreat. Dates are slightly altered from past years from April 20-22 (Sunday to Tuesday rather than Monday to Wednesday). The retreat begins at 8 p.m. (EDST) Sunday, April 20 and ends with lunch on Tuesday. The cost is $100 and includes two nights and five meals. There are no discounts for an abbreviated stay or missed meals.
Your District Superintendent is hoping that more of you will make this a priority than in previous years. The Sunday Evening Start is an attempt to make attendance a little more convenient. This event is indeed a retreat, with plenty of free time for rest, reflection and fellowship.
To register send your name and a check made payable to “Marygrove Retreat Center” by April 11 to Donna J. Lindberg, 396-Harborview Dr. #11, Manistique, MI  49854.
