The Chancel Choir provides music for the worship service. The choir is made up of church members and friends of the choir. The choir sings anthems and choral benediction during worship and presents special usic programs throughout the church year. Choir rehearsals are held at 7:30pm on Wednesdays in the choir room or in the sanctuary. Occasionally, Mowatt choir joins the combined choir of other Christian communities in Greenbelt.
The Ruth Circle of United Methodist Women started forming a Chime Choir ministry at their October 2003 meeting. Ringers ring the chimes during worship services for the liturgical feasts of the Church, such as Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, and the Christmas season.
Occasionally, Mowatt features Bluegrass / Mountain Gospel
