The People of the United Methodist Church
Join us Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. for worship.
Sunday School held concurrently.  Prayer group meets at 9:15 a.m.

The mission of our church as a Christ centered church is to be the community of faith: to celebrate God's presence, to proclaim Jesus Christ, crucified and risen, our Judge and our Hope, to bear witness of the ongoing works of the Holy Spirit, to be obedient to the Word of the Lord, to love and serve others, to seek justice and resist evil, to be useful and accessible to the local community and to establish God's righteousness on earth.

Our Pastor's Welcome Message:

I am so honored to be appointed by Bishop Schol to Mowatt United Methodist Church. I believe that there is great potential in the partnership between College Park UMC and Mowatt. I am looking forward with great anticipation to serving at Mowatt United Methodist Church.

Welcome message from Mowatt Memorial United Methodist Church:

Mowatt welcomes Rev. Lundin as our new pastor. She was ordained in 1991 and became an elder and full member of the Desert Southwest Conference in 1996. Previous jobs have included county extension agent, greenhouse grower, florist, small business owner, full time wife and mother. We are pleased to benefit from her enthusiasm and experience.

Mowatt Memorial United Methodist Church is excited to be participating in God's great plan. We believe he is at work in Greenbelt, redeeming sinful people like you and me, making a new people who worship him, love each other, and care for the world he created.

We are seeing God accomplishing his plan here at Mowatt. He is changing people's lives, establishing an authentic, loving, Christian community, and giving us a desire to tell the people around us about God's great purpose for the world.

We're glad you're visiting our website, and we hope to see you with us Sunday morning as we gather to worship our amazing God.
