WHAT WE BELIEVE

Mount Vernon United Methodist Church, Danville, VA

Welcome,
in the name of Jesus Christ

Come in out of the cold of an impersonal and sometimes hostile world, and join us at Mount Vernon United Methodist Church. Come home to a new sense of who and whose you are as you live among us.

Mount Vernon Church has shared Christ's love and compassion in this community for more than 120 years. Much has changed over the years, but one thing has not – the sense of genuine love and caring growing out of a deep commitment to the crucified and risen Christ that pervades all that we do.

We invite you to visit Mount Vernon Church and share with us the adventures and opportunities that await us as we strive together to restore persons to God and one another in Christ Jesus.

As you go back into the world to share what you have experienced at Mount Vernon Church, you will help care for the hungry, the homeless, the sick, the lonely, and the lost.

Visitors are always welcome

Open Hearts. Open Minds. Open Doors.
