The Lord is doing so much in the lives of the students here and I believe the Lord is keeping me here for this season in my life. The next step is seminary at Emory to become a Methodist pastor. I truly feel called to the pastoral role and, through my work at Wesley, I feel I will be better prepared for seminary and being a pastor." Elizabeth Hughes

Turn your trash into cash for the church. The Newton Recycling Plant, 3152 Turner Rd. (across from the housing project) will take your newspapers, aluminum cans, glass bottles and jars (paper removed please); they will weigh them, credit the church, and then send a check to the church.  Hours are 8-4 M-F and 8-12 Sat. Contact Helen Coggin for further information; she will take your recyclables if you can’t get them there.

Remember our church and pastor in your daily prayers.
Remember the church in your will or through a life insurance policy.

We express our Christian love and sympathy to the family and friends of Marion Dean (Harriett Norris’ mother), who died last Saturday, May 29, at the age of 83.
