We at First United Methodist Church of Mt Holly extend to you a cordial invitation to join us for worship at 9:00am every Sunday. We strive with God's help to offer a worship time that is inspirational and meaningful. The good news of Jesus Christ has been preached from this pulpit for over a century.
Our worship service is a blended one incorporating both traditional and more contemporary choruses.
We are child friendly and welcome people of all ages, nations and races. In obedience to Christ's Great Commission we are dedicated to making disciples for the transformation of the world. We are a mission-oriented church seeking God's will as we minister to others in Christ's name. If you do not have a church home we hope you will consider joining our church family. Our pastor is Rev. Betty L. Megill. She graduated from Monmouth University in West Long Branch,NJ and is a graduate of New Brunswick Theological Seminary in New Brunswick, NJ.
She is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church. She has been in pastoral ministry since 1992 having served churches in Howell, Farmingdale and Long Branch, NJ before being appointed to the Lumberton United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church in Mt. Holly. She is married with one daughter and one grand-daughter. She grew up in Bellmawr, NJ and is pleased to return to South Jersey.
