Meet our Interim Organist and Choir Director: Debbie Hill

Once again, music is flowing from our church organ as we welcome Debbie Hill as our new interim organist.

Debbie is a graduate of Westminster Choir College and has been playing for churches since 1968. She retired recently from Roebling where she was Organist and Choir Director. She has also played at the Pearson Memorial United Methodist Church, Yardville Presbyterian, and the Presbyterian Church in Bordentown.

Debbie has graciously offered to work with the choir after church on Sundays to prepare us for the following week service. The choir is excited to be singing again and enjoys working with Debbie. It is known that Debbie also has a beautiful Alto voice. Perhaps, someday, we can arrange for her to sing with the choir for a special anthem. Let’s all pray on that one.

Debbie also teaches French in a New Brunswick school and is the mother of three grown children and also has four grand-children. God has blessed her with many gifts and has blessed us with her presence and talents.

We are continuing to look for a permanent organist and choir director, but in the interim, thank you Debbie and thanks be to God.
