On July 1, 2008, we were blessed with the assignment of Rev. Betty Megill to our church. Please come out and visit our church to hear Pastor Megill give her dynamic, uplifting sermons and charge you for the week ahead. You will truly be blessed.
We have new windows in our steeple. Our church contracted with T-Mobile through Steple-Com to use our steeple as a communications tower providing improved coverage to downtown Mount Holly. As part of the installation process new larger windows made of fiberglass and plastic were installed. What a difference it has made in the appearance of our spire. Come by and see it first hand.
On October 25th, we had a Spaghetti and Meatball Dinner. In spite of having a very rainy day, we still served a lot of people from the church, the down and quite a few guests from out of town. The food was wonderful, (home-made sauce, meatballs and sausage by Marie Gardner) and everyone found themselves quit full. The fellowship was just great! Thank you God for giving us the talents to make such a wonderful meal and thank you for so many friends and family.
