THE PHILIPSBURG-OSCEOLA MILLS MINISTERIUM

PERFORMING ARTS
COMMUNITY AID CONCERT

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2009
3:00-5:00 P.M.

ROWLAND THEATRE

The Philipsburg-Osceola Mills Ministerium will be hosting a Performing Arts Community Aid Concert on Sunday, November 15, 2009. Last year the Ministerium hosted a Fuel Aid Concert and raised over $4000.00 to assist people in the area with fuel. This year the need is a little broader.

The purpose for the concert is to raise funds to be deposited into the Philipsburg-Osceola Mills Ministerium Emergency Account through Community Action. We understand from Community Action that there is a need in the community for energy and utilities assistance during the winter months.

We are asking for individuals and businesses to make a donation to help defray the cost of $300.00 for use of the Rowland Theatre or to make a donation to the concert.  Churches, businesses and individuals who donate will be acknowledged at the concert.
We are also looking for individuals groups to perform at the concert. If you are interested in donating or participating, please contact, Pastor Brenda Leigey at 342-1820 or e-mail tumc@pennswoods.net by October30.

This year we plan to honor our Veterans in between the performances.

The concert last year went beyond our expectations because of the generosity of the community and the talented individuals and groups who performed. Many families received much needed assistance to help them through a difficult time.

Thank you and God Bless,

The Churches of The Philipsburg-Osceola Mills Ministerium
