Thank You

We would like to thank everyone for all the wonderful snacks you provided for your child’s class throughout the year.  As ususal you showed how kind and generous you all are and we can’t thank you enough.

Snow Make-Up Time

Pre-K 3-day a.m. will continue snow make-up (½ hour early start) to and including May 12th.

Pre-K 2-day T/Th will continue snow make-up (½ hour early start) to and including May 13th.

Nursery class will continue snow make-up (¼ hour early start and ¼ hour later dismissal) to and including May 6th.

We will not have an early start on Graduation day, May 21st.

One Last Field Trip

On Thursday, May 15th, from 8:30 to 11:40, our Pre-K T/TH a.m. class will combine with the Pre-K M/W p.m. class for the long-awaited field trip to the Middle School’s Family and Consumer Science Class.  (This serves as snow make-up time for the M/W class.)  The trip was delayed due to the passing away of the father of the teacher, Mrs. Lynn Christianson.  A letter will be coming home under separate cover regarding the details.

 

Book Orders

Please note the final book order of the year is due 5-02-03.  We chose a relatively early date so the books would be in before school is over.

We want to thank all of you who participated in purchasing books through Scholastic Book Orders. 

                   Book Fair

The Preschool will be having an “End of School Year” 10% off book fair sale during the last week of May from Thursday, May 29th to Thursday, June 5th.  So if you feel within a week’s time that you are missing us already, come back to see us at the book fair and stock up for the summer!  Volunteers would also be greatly appreciated!

 Summer Birthdays

We invite any parents whose children have summer birthdays to celebrate their child’s birthday during this final month.  Please check the calendar to make sure that you have a day in May to celebrate.  An attempt was made to contact everyone concerned, but if we were unable to connect with you please let us know if you would like to join us for the celebrations.  Most summer birthdays are being jointly celebrated towards the end of the month.  Parents are invited to join us the last half hour (as we mentioned earlier in the year) for your child’s big day.  Let us know if you are planning to do anything special on that day!

 

Graduation

Graduation for the three Pre-Kindergarten classes will be Wednesday morning, May 21st.   Class will start at the usual morning time of 9:00 a.m. at which time we will have one last rehearsal.  Parents are invited for the graduation ceremony at 11:00 a.m. which this year will be in the Social Hall.  The ceremony will be followed by the graduation party at 11:30 outside in the courtyard (weather permitting).   Details regarding the graduation will be forthcoming as the month progresses.

One Final Blowout!

Once again this year we will have  a “big blowout party” at Chuck E. Cheese’s.  The party will be Friday, May 23rd from 6:00 - 7:30.  A reservation slip will be coming home shortly.  If you would like to be a part of this really fun time, please return your slip and money as soon as possible.
