Welcome to the home of Morton United Methodist Church.

Morton United Methodist Church has as its primary mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We are first and foremost a Christian Body whose theology and practice is rooted in the Bible and orthodox Christian tradition. We add a distinctive meaning to our church through our Methodist heritage.

As a Christian church, we affirm the central and essential truths of the historic Christian faith. These are expressed in the Apostles Creed, Articles of Religion of the United Methodist Church, and other sources.

We acknowledge ourselves as the Body of Christ, made new in the image of Jesus Christ. As Christians we seek to follow God's will as faithful disciples.

As a church seeking to make disciples of Jesus Christ, we understand that this means leading people to a saving faith in the grace of God through Jesus Christ. As well, it means to grow as disciples under the power of the Holy Spirit until God brings His purpose to an eternal end. This is our hope for all members and constituents of our church.

We come together in ministry through worship, education, fellowship, and outreach in a variety of ways. But underlying all of our work is our purpose to make disciples for Jesus Christ.
