Montpelier,
Indiana is located on Highway 18 between Highways 1 and 3.
Our Service Time is 9:15 on Sunday morning.
Sunday mornings are a little different than twenty years ago. Most of
our folks dress casually, which encourages a come as you are
atmosphere. Our music is led by the worship leader and accompanied by
one of our two pianists, Kaye Huffman and Junior Mallot. Plus, we
have the treat of having Bonnie Kellogg joining us on the organ. The
style of worship is changing to meet the needs of the congregation.
More singing has been added. Older songs mixed with some new tunes
have become a foundation for our worship. We have a time to share our
joys and concerns with one another. Currently, the pastor keeps the
congregation on their toes by changing the worship format or style on
any given Sunday. Also, the church has added the following statement
to the worship folders: "If you are a visitor this morning, we
do not expect you to give to the church financially. Rather we would
like you to receive the blessing that God has for you this
morning." Money is not the reason the church exists rather our
purpose is to help you to become the best person that you can be.
Will you come and worship with us this Sunday?

A
staffed nursery is available for children under the age of five. Our
nursery workers are supervised by a nursery coordinator. As with all
of our children's programs there is a written
policy regarding the protection of our children and youth. Look
for the signs or ask one of the greeters as you come into the church. {Return

Every
person within the church has something to contribute to the ministry
of the church and the community. If it were not for the lay person,
the church could not exist. Each person has been given certain
talents and gifts and is able to use those for the benefit of
ministry into the community. Our lay people are involved in numerous
projects, agencies, and community service. Each year, a service is
held to celebrate the work and ministry of the laity within the
church and the world.
