Our Missional Heritage…

John Wesley spoke about "works of mercy." He believed every Christian had opportunities to do good for others. These were both an obligation and a gift. After all, giving itself is a gift. Works of mercy are an essential part of God's call to "holiness of heart and life," which is nothing more than loving God and neighbor with everything we are and have.

From the earliest days, Christians responded to the needs of their brothers and sisters. From the start, our ancestors in United Methodism offered prayers and gave generously when they saw people in need.



Montmorenci United Methodist Church continues this tradition in many ways through local neighborhoods and communities throughout the world.

Montmorenci’s emphasis on ministry extends to all corners of the local community and around the globe. Information on this page highlights some, but not necessarily all, of the ongoing, supported ministries by the Montmorenci congregation.
