United Methodist Men
The United Methodist Men meet monthly for breakfast, for a time of devotion, for fellowship and to discuss business of the group. The UMM meet the 3rd Sunday of each month from 7:45 AM - 8:45 AM.
The Methodist Men also meet with other Hominy Valley area Methodist Churches every 5th Sunday, at 7:30pm, for a breakfast for a program and fellowship. The churches rotate hosting the breakfast.
The Methodist Men assisted with the building of the Methodist Habitat for Humanity House this Spring.
Our primary annual fund raiser and also an outreach event in recent history has been a Community Dinner. We also recycle scrap metal to add to our funding. With the raising of these funds we are able to provide resources for many things through the year, including assistance for missionary trips, assistance to needy families, various church needs such as the replacement of the sound system, help with funding of a new church sign, window covering in the Family Life Center, etc.
All men in the church are welcome and encouraged to join us for any United Methodist Men's function.
