Human Relations Day

Through the special offering we share on Human Relations Day, we support:

  • the work of community developers in low-income communities;
  • an interracial network of grass-roots social-justice organizations;
  • local church Youth Offender Rehabilitation projects



One Great Hour

One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) is observed by United Methodists on the fourth Sunday in Lent. The offering supports ongoing work of the United Methodist Committee on Relief. UMCOR

  • provides disaster relief refugee ministries
  • addresses causes of world hunger and poverty



Native American Awareness

Through the special offering we share on Native American Awareness Sunday, we support:

  • Native American ministries across the United States
  • seminary scholarships for UM Native Americans



Peace with Justice

Your gift today expands the opportunities for creating peace around the world.н Through the special offering we share on Peace with Justice Sunday, we:ннн

  • help youth find alternatives to violence
  • provide education and resources to help end global violence and injustice and to improve human rights for all peoples
  • support the work of leaders who stop violence and restore peace to families, communities and nations



World Communion Sunday

Through the special offering we share on World Communion Sunday, we support:

  • Crusade Scholarships for international and U.S. racial-and-ethnic-minority students to pursue graduate studies
  • Scholarships for racial-and ethnic-minority persons seeking second careers in church-related vocations
  • Ethnic Scholarships for undergraduate students



Student Sunday

Through the special offering we share on United Methodist Student Day, we support:

  • more than 2,000 undergraduate and graduate scholarships for students attending United Methodist-related schools
  • more than 1,200 loans to students whose seriousness of purpose is demonstrated by the lowest loan default rate (one-tenth of 1 percent) of any such program in the United States
