ELDERS

The Eat Lunch, Discuss Events, Recreation Society (ELDERS) is a group of members and friends of Monkton Church who meet the second Tuesday of each month at Monkton Church to carpool to a restaurant within a 2-hour drive for lunch at 12:00 noon followed by a visit to some point of religious, historical, or scenic interest. The group is composed primarily of senior citizens, but all ages are welcome. A 3- to 6-month agenda is agreed upon periodically, and notices of meeting times and places are published in both church bulletins for two weeks in advance of each trip.
