MOBILE DISTRICT ELECTRONIC UNIT

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN

This ELECTRONIC Unit will operate in the same manner as any other Unit in the Mobile District with the exception of meetings. This District Unit will meet via the Internet and Email.

The ELECTRONIC Unit will hold one annual meeting on the same day as Mobile District Annual Meeting, either before or after the District Meeting. This will be the only designated F2F (face to face) meeting scheduled.

Other meetings may be called when two or more members see the need to come together for social purposes. No business will be conducted at called meetings. All members of the Unit will be invited to any called F2F meeting.

The ELECTRONIC Unit will publish monthly programs to the website and regularly exchange emails among the membership. The monthly virtual meeting will include the program, devotional message, Response moments, and Prayer Calendar. The Unit will be involved in mission locally as well as contributing to mission of The United Methodist Church through the Women’s Division, General Board of Global Ministries.
