Remember— Honor — Give Thanks Now that we've turned our clocks back to Standard Time, the days seem shorter and we begin to settle in to await Winter's coming. November is more than a month of transition, however. In a special service at our church on Nov. 7, we will remember and honor our veterans as well as others who have blessed our lives. Then on Nov. 11, nationally observed as Veterans Day, we again may pay special tribute to those who have given their lives to protect our country and preserve our freedom. These special events, of course, will be capped off by the official Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25, when we give thanks to God for ALL our blessings. So — remember, honor, give thanks and CELEBRATE this final month of autumn.
