METHODIST HOUR

The Methodist Conference set November 12 as a day for Special Offering to the United Methodist Hour.  The radio stations and weekly television program, "Time That Makes a Difference," reach out to eight states, offering ministry to the homebound, the lonely and hurting and people beyond the reach of the local church.  We raised on that Sunday, $455.00 in Love Offerings.  Thank everyone who gave so generously.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

We have computers!  Thank You to Cathy Gray for remembering us with the donation of several computers for our school age children.  We have 45 children, ages 5-13, enrolled at this time.  The computers will provide a wonderful opportunity for them to enjoy many educational activities.  We hope that everyone is enjoying the artwork that the children are creating.  It is displayed in the fellowship hall weekly.  We have several families in our Church whose children attend the After School Program and many children have begun to attend our Wednesday night suppers and youth classes.  If anyone has any old, age appropriate games, puzzles, or books we would love to have them.
THANKS for your continued inquiries and support with this program.                    Tina Patrick, Director

CHRISTMAS CHEER

Three Magi gifts….Draw inspiration from  the Wise Men by limiting gifts to just three per child.  Gold starts with G, so give one garment gift.  Frankincense starts with F, so find one fun gift.  Myrrh starts with M, so give a gift that is mentally stimulating, such as a book or puzzle.  Round out with smaller things in the kid's stockings.
