Milton United Methodist Church
Our Sunday Services

Our Sunday services are a mixture of modest tradition and thoughtful innovation. We come together to find comfort in the strength of our Lord Jesus Christ and each other and to receive encouragement to live our lives as Jesus taught us.

At left is the illustration from our order of worship folder for Palm Sunday, 2002.

Below we've added the order of worship activities from a typical Sunday (These activities happen to be from the second Sunday in Lent, 2002).

Prelude Our two Helens at the keyboards provide wonderful accompaniment to our services. Learn more about our music.

Sharing Joys and Concerns Life brings its happy moments, and we share the joys of them with one another. Life has its down moments and problems that worry us, too: We find strength and encouragement to face our challenges in sharing them with one another. Pastor Kuhn leads us and contributes as we share this time.
The Lord's Prayer The Prayer that Jesus taught. Once in a while, Pastor Kuhn leads us in a recitation of the old Prayer as it is spoken by different people and in new interpretations.
TFWS 2108 "O How He Loves You and Me" (K. Kaiser)
Blessing

A benediction is spoken by the Pastor

Hymn 143 "On Eagle's Wings"
Postlude Again, the two Helens provide an appropriate musical backdrop to our departure from the sanctuary (as we probably head next door to the Church's community room for coffee and cookies!)
