A Message from Pastor Ellen:

Greetings!  We are happy to be able to be in touch with you via this new techno-wonder called E-mail!  We think of and pray
for you all knowing that young adulthood brings both blessings and great challenges.  Term and final exams, heavy course loads,
living situations, finances and trying to get clear on which "major" to declare are just a few of the potentially high stress areas of
your life.  I remember experiencing these during my early college days.

Sometimes it feels like all there is to do is academics.  And its true!  Life can be lonely when you want to take a breather from
studying and your friends are tied up.  That's one of the moments when family and friends at home seem very important.  Home
cooked meals rate especially high and siblings you may not have gotten along with at one time are among those you miss the
most.

Here at Milton UMC, we know family and friends are important.  It's vital to have home connections when you live away at
school.  And as your home church, we want to be an important link in your support system which encourages you as you
continue to grow into adulthood.  We want you to know that we miss you too, that we're thinking about you and looking
forward to your next visit home.  We pray that God's guidance and wisdom will lead you and ease any stress or anxiety.

If there is anyway we can help,
