United Methodist Inner City Mission
The United Methodist Inner City Mission serves
the greater Oakdale-Maysville community through a Christ centered, holistic
ministry. We seek to meet clients needs through a wide range of programs that
are provided in a safe, loving and secure environment.
Our Programs
The Mission provides a wide range of opportunities for people of all ages,
regardless of race, religion or creed. We help clients enjoy life through
recreational, enrichment and educational programs for youth and seniors,
emergency services for families in crisis, safe evening shelter for homeless
single women and community development for Oakdale-Maysville residents.
The Mission administers programs that address the physical, emotional and
spiritual needs of the community:
As our hands reach out, we see the face of God - in the faces of those we serve
and in those who work with us to serve the needs of others.
The Mission Is About:
Hope and change by giving children, youth and families the help they need to
improve their lives.
Celebrating the lives of senior citizens by providing daily activities, special
trips, lunches and transportation to medical appointments and shopping.
Providing opportunities for volunteers to share in this ministry "to bring
Good News to the poor," Luke 4:18
