Hello...
The Middlefield Federated Church is one congregation, formed by the union of the Middlefield Congregational Church and the Middlefield Methodist Church in 1921. While both denominations, the United Church of Christ and the United Methodist Church ,have rich histories and distinct identities, we come together as one family under God.

Bike and Build

May 09 thru June 09 143

Wanted: 32 showers, 32 dinners (some vegan), 32 places to sleep and 32 hearty breakfasts, in 9 days!! The Middlefield Federated Church members rallied to meet the need when cyclists from the national organization “Bike and Build” were told the plans they’d made to stay in our town were no longer viable. Phone calls were made and casseroles were prepared as we rolled out the “blue” carpet to house these valiant riders on their way to San Francisco. There is a comprehensive list thanking everyone involved and more pictures of their visit on the board in Fellowship Hall. As their mission is to build houses for the needy, it is likely that a donation to the Habitat home in Middlefield will be receiving a donation in our name.
