Hello…
The Middlefield Federated Church is one congregation, formed by the union of the Middlefield Congregational Church and the Middlefield Methodist Church in 1921. While both denominations, the United Church of Christ and the United Methodist Church , have rich histories and distinct identities, we come together as one family under God.

In the spirit of social justice our youth joined the UCC/UMC Coffee Project that partners with Equal Exchange, Inc. to sell fairly traded coffee, tea and cocoa products.  By purchasing these products during fellowship you will be supporting small scale farmers in Latin America, Africa and Asia to earn a fairer share of income, obtain access to credit and technical support, and gain a trading partner they can trust.  Fair trade products ensure that farmers are being paid fairly.  This is also an ongoing fundraiser for the Middlefield Federated Church youth to support their capital campaign pledge.  For more information on fair trade issues go to www.equalexchange.coop

Contacts for the youth project are Claudia White and Aubree Keurajian
