November 22 – Share the Faith Sunday

The Church Growth Committee encourages everyone to invite and bring a friend, new-comers to the area, or someone without a church to share the joys of your church! It is in the Christian’s “DNA” to share the good news of Jesus’ love. This year I challenge us all to extend a personal invitation to someone for this day. We average around 180 on Sunday morning, but why not 250 or 280 on Share the Faith Sunday! Let’s give it a Christian try!

November 29 – First Sunday of Advent

As the Thanksgiving season concludes and our Bazaar is only days away, we will light the first Advent Candle and begin our journey toward the birth of Jesus Christ. The season is busy for many, but we can balance our responsibilities with the Advent promise that Christ is coming. Each Advent Sunday we will light the candles on the wreath and prepare our hearts to celebrate Jesus’ birth.

If able and in town, I hope you will participate in these Sunday morning worship opportunities. The month of November is a meaningful time as we move toward the holiday season and our church’s 2010 ministry.
