Farewell to our Clergy Members

At the end of June, a number of clergy persons who have served in the Metropolitan District moved because of retirement, to go on leave, or to practice ministry in other contexts.  They and their families go with our prayers and best wishes.

These individuals are:

• Rev. Arturo Maine, formerly of St. Stephen’s English and Hispanic congregations;

• Rev. Sungsoo Hahn, who was the senior pastor of Korean Methodist Church and Institute;

• Rev. Takayuki Ishii who served for 19 years at Metropolitan Duane. 

• Rev. Bryan Hooper who was the pastor of Washington Square. 

• Rev. Rachel Ye Kim, formerly of St. Paul’s in Hartsdale;

• Rev. Vicky Fleming who served at Armonk for 10 years;

• Rev. John Nelson, who was the pastor of United in Ossining.
