Worship is central in
the life of Messiah United Methodist Church, and we extend an
open invitation to you with the hope that you will find meaning,
comfort, and hospitality while you are with us.
At Messiah, worship
combines today’s contemporary Christian praise music and
traditional hymns with the
best elements of a traditional Methodist service. Led by our
Pastor, the Reverend Dr. Michael L. Nelson, you’ll find
meaningful worship through the celebration of the traditions of
our faith, the reading of scriptures, fellowship, music, prayer,
and a relevant message.
Our lives are defined by
our individual worship throughout the week and we celebrate that
bond together when we worship as a community of believers each
Sunday. The Pastor’s message seeks to connect the scriptures
with everyday life, to recognize the grace God has granted, and
how as Christians we can be a blessing to others.
The music you will
experience in our services is varied, meaningful, and skillfully
performed. It includes praise music led by our talented praise
team, traditional hymns, and choir music.
Children participate in
worship through the hearing of scriptures, a Children’s Message
from the Pastor, and attending Children‘s Church where they are
involved in an age appropriate worship service. Child care for
younger children is also provided.
Since we want everyone
to feel comfortable at Messiah, you will see people dressed up
and people in more casual clothing.
Come worship with us on
Sunday at 11:00 A.M.
There is also a
Children's Church service for children age four through 5th
Grade.
The nursery is
open for children under the age of four.
Cry room available
for babies. |
