Messiah Kids
Messiah has so much to offer the children of our congregation including the following: Children and Family Ministry Activities - Throughout the year, we will be providing opportunities for both children and families to interact during a variety of activities. It is our hope to encourage and build healthy family relationships along with allowing kids to fellowship and learn together. Among the events planned for the year are events for the parent/child (i.e. mother/daughter), family fun (i.e. Game Night, Drive-In Movie Night), and kids only events (i.e. . Half Lock-In). Stay tuned and join us! Children's Church - During worship, children ages 4 years old through 5th grade have their own service with music, lessons, and crafts. Sunday School - All new children's Sunday school, "ROCK SOLID, Build a Heart of Faith" will give children ages 3yrs through 8th grade an opportunity to build their faith in 4 age group classes (3yo-K, 1st-3rd, 4th & 5th, and 6th-8th). Pirates of the Messiah-Being - Sunday's at 1:00pm, bring the kids for music, crafts, lessons, and games. This will be a great time for the parents of these scaly-wags to go run errands or have a nice quiet lunch while the children earn rewards that go towards booty and such stuff. The shipmates will also earn extra booty when they bring a mate to share this great adventure with us. It will be a great time sailing the high seas and searching for the treasure that God has for all of us. Choir - Our "Messiah Kids" participate in the Christmas and Spring Musicals along with sharing the music they have learned during our 11am worship. We incorporate singing into some of our Sunday School, Wee Worship, and Children and Family Ministry Activities.
