Bring your shoe boxes (two piece boxes work better), Christmas gift wrap, scotch tape and scissors and join us for an evening of fun and fellowship. Ingraham 'Won by One Jamaica Mission': Andy and Bobbie Ingraham will be traveling in July to Jamaica and need to bring 2 full suitcases of supplies to be distributed to individual and groups in need. The Ingraham's are very excited about this opportunity and will appreciate your prayers as well as any donations. Starting June 15th there will be suitcases in the narthex to fill. The following is a list of items to be placed in the suitcases:

Any size sheets, new or gently used children and infant clothes, new underwear and socks, gently used backpacks, antifungal cream, tape measures, baby powder and size D batteries. A list of additional items will be posted but these are the items that are greatly needed. Lets work as a family and fill these suitcases to send off our brother and sister in Christ to Jamaica with the supplies they need! Thank you for your support...

Play Ball!  Messiah has had a softball team for the past two years with players from within our congregation playing other churches with the City of Chesapeake. Our next season starts in August with sign ups needing to be complete by July 14th. It will run 12-14 games usually on Fridays at night. We usually have two practices before the first game and that is it. We can have twenty players on the team (this is a coed team). If you are interested in some fun, fellowship, exercise, or just cheering us on please let Kristi Dean know and she will get you signed up. Join today!!

The Food Pantry - For the month of July we will be collecting canned meats (tuna, salmon, beef stew, chili, spam, etc.).

Please leave your donation in the Narthex.  Thank you for your contribution!

So you heard that God made us, pretty awesome, but how did He make us and what did He make us for? Join us as we explore these and other questions in our 'Made' study. We'll start on April 13th with a lesson from the 'Bourne Identity'.

High School: Choices, choices, choices... Each day you have tons of choices to make. How do you decide? During the month of April we will be completing the series 'How Not to be a Fool' which looks at making wise choices. Applicable information for the here and now! We will also be staring a new series so be sure to stay tuned for your next challenge!

Check out the Youth Page for a list of upcoming Spring events!!!!!

Meals on Wheels - Help Wanted!  Messiah participates in the Meals on Wheels program on a monthly basis and distributes meals to those in needs. We are in need of creating a substitute driver list. This will allow us to create a rotation schedule and give more people the opportunity to use his or her spiritual gift.  So if you are available the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 10:30-12:30, and are willing to pick-up package meals from Chesapeake General and deliver 6-10 meals around the local area...then the time is now for you to step up! Please contact Donna Kumjian if interested.
