Trunk or Treat - Thanks to everyone who made Trunk or Treat and the chili cook off a great success!

Joy Circle - The next Joy Circle meeting will be on Monday, November 16 at 7:00. Phyllis Lewter will be hosting us as we discuss Chapter 3 of our book "Really Bad Girls of the Bible."

United Methodist Women - United Methodist Women will meet on Monday, November 9 at 7 pm. We will meet at church.

Drop-in Coffee with the Pastor -  Please join Pastor Mike at Starbucks on Cedar Rd. every Wednesday morning from 7:30-8:15 AM for a 'cuppa jo' or just to chat. It is a great time to fellowship!

Farm Fresh Receipts - Farm Fresh 123-4 Community program has started again. Please save your receipts and help th church get "free stuff." A collection box is in the narthex.

Lady's Thursday Bible Study - Come join the women of Messiah for fellowship and learning every Thursday from 09:30 am to 11:30 am.  They are currently studying from "The Embraceable Mystery...God".

The Food Pantry  - The food closet item for November is canned tuna.

Another way to help is to donate grocery store gift cards.  These can be used to purchase perishable items such as bread, eggs and meats. 

Please leave your donation in the Narthex.  Thank you for your continued support of this very important mission.

YA DIGG? - Calling all young adults (post high school - 25 yrs).  We have a Bible study just for you Thursday evenings from 7-9pm.  Come on out and lets dig into God's Glory through His Word.  It will be a great time of study and fellowship.

Messiah Methodist Men - The Men are back from our summer break.  We were able to raise enough money last year to fix the accordion doors.  Although this years project is yet to be decided, we will continue to monthly breakfasts with love offerings to support our next project.

Youth Update - Youth meet on Sunday from 3:00 - 4:30 PM (middle school youth) and 5:30 - 7:00 PM (high school youth) in the three room complex. Follow the green feet to find where we meet! Check out the Youth page for the latest events.

Meals on Wheels - Help Wanted!  Messiah participates in the Meals on Wheels program on a monthly basis and distributes meals to those in needs. We are in need of creating a substitute driver list. This will allow us to create a rotation schedule and give more people the opportunity to use his or her spiritual gift.  So if you are available the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 10:30-12:30, and are willing to pick-up package meals from Chesapeake General and deliver 6-10 meals around the local area...then the time is now for you to step up! Please contact Donna Kumjian if interested.

Reviews - The United Methodist Church provides reviews from a Christian perspective along with study guides. Go with a group to the movies and then have a time of fellowship discussing the themes as they relate to Christianity. Don't forget the coffee and dessert!
