            Discussion on Comments:

Regarding Capital Runway Committee - Howard will make himself available to meet with the Capital Campaign Runway Committee.

Troy led discussion of need to get “something” to congregation soon regarding Fellowship Hall discussion/plans.  Howard suggested a basic Workplan Outline which would form the basis of a Newsletter updated as well as be posted on church website.

OLD BUSINESS

            Finalize FS Hall Requirements Assignment

The Committee reviewed Fellowship Hall “Laundry List” of needs and discussed possible changes.  Howard will make revision and send final draft.  Committee members will review and respond with their approval.  The plan is for Howard to take and present it to Council at their March meeting.  If they approve will encourage dissemination of this to the congregation also, possibly via the web site.

NEW BUSINESS

Consideration of Points proposed by J. Hockersmith: (per email):

  1. Review and Update Study Committee Survey – It was agreed that a small group will meet to update the study committee survey.  The intention will be to look at the space aspect, not just the ministry aspect, and then come with a report to the full committee.  Joe, Rod and Heather agreed to meet regarding this matter.

  1. Study Committee Firm selection - Decision of Building Committee to contact companies to elicit their interest and to interview.  The list of firms contacted and interviewed by the Study Committee was reviewed and discussed.  It was decided that the Building Committee would contact three firms: Campbell Associates, Newcomer Associates (Brechbill & Helman) and W.S. Miller.  Members are to email Howard with possible afternoon dates to meet for interviews.  These dates should be during the last two weeks of March and first two weeks of April.  It was agreed that a formal interview process is needed.  Howard will draft the formal interview procedure used by the Study Committee for their second round of questions, as well as draft an interview tool based on that used by the Facility & Ministry Study Committee.

3.      Discussion of Phasing issue as presented - As stated previously, we need to be cognizant of future phases during planning of each preceding stage.

4.      Identifying Utility/Service load needs for Courtyard/Atrium—This will be held until next meeting, based on the update of the Group reviewing the Study Committee Survey.
