"We reach out, welcome, and nurture in Christian love"

MUSIC MINISTRY

Philosophy

The primary objective of the Music Department is to promote worship through the use of musical talents.  We strive to teach sound musical practices and techniques in an encouraging, Christian environment.  While we recognize that an integral component of music is performance, we stress that expression through music is an act of praise and an offering of gratitude to God.

Welcome

Welcome to Messiah United Methodist Church!  This page is intended to acquaint you with the various music opportunities offered here in our congregation.  It is our hope that you may wish to participate in one or more of them.  Please do not hesitate to contact the church office or speak directly to anyone involved in the music program.  It is our commitment to offer opportunities to all to celebrate their love of our God through the sharing of their talents.  Both vocal and instrumental ensembles are in place for folks of all ages.

Vocal Opportunities
